We are currently living in tough times for a lot of businesses. The COVID-19 pandemic is spreading fast and practicing social distancing seems hard for those who like to be outdoors. The Florida governor Ron DeSantis has issued a Stay Home order that was placed into effect Friday April 3rd at 12:01am, which states that everyone should stay home unless they are practicing essential services and activities, but what does that mean? Floridians are encouraged to stay home unless they need to go to the grocery store, pharmacies, urgent care, hospitals or other essential needs. People who are still allowed to work are those who work in those essential services that are needed to support a living to others, such as, medical and healthcare, telecommunications, defense, food and agriculture, construction, transportation and logistics, energy, water and wastewater, law enforcement, and others.  The executive order also provided a list of essential activities that Floridians can

The world is going through a lot of changes right now. People are being locked down, worrying, and waiting to see what will happen next. The once comforting embrace of sports is gone, and golf was a heavy victim of this. The PGA Tour has cancelled and postponed many events. The last PGA Tour golf event that many will see for the foreseeable future was the Arnold Palmer Invitational held from March 5th to 8th in Orlando, Florida. It was won by Tyrell Hatton who shot -4 on the weekend. Currently, 11 events have been affected by COVID-19 through the next two months but that number may increase if COVID-19 continues to have a severe impact on the world around us. Only 3 of the 11 have been postponed: the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship, the Masters Tournament, and the PGA Championship. Josh Musselman’s Golf Experience Review It was like love at first swing. The moment I swung my driver with my new shaft for the first time during the fitting process I knew that it was perfect.  The process started with golf professional Josh Musselman at Josh Musselman’s Golf Experience in Bonita Springs, FL. He is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to help. His facility was fully equipped with a Track Man golf tracker to analyze every aspect of your swing from club face angle at every point, various speed and trajectory measurements, as well as video recordings of your swing that you can pause and manipulate to see exactly what shafts or clubs fit you best.  I had been referred to Josh by a friend of mine who had him reshaft their irons and had nothing but great things to say from his service to the performance of the new shafts. This past week the Arnold Palmer Invitational took place at Bay Hill in Orlando, Florida. This year’s tournament turned out to be difficult for the fan favorites’ Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson, Rickie Fowler and other top ranked players. However, the British Tyrell Hatton showed up and did his job to take home his very first PGA Tour victory.  During the first two rounds, the leaderboard was showing very low scores, with Rory McIlroy shooting a 66 the first day and going into the weekend with 7-under-par from Tyrrell Hatton and Sun Kang sharing the lead. Earlier this month, the WGC-Mexico Championship tournament was held in Naucalpan, Mexico. The tournament played host to 72 golfers over the four day tournament, but one stood out among the rest. That man is Patrick Reed, who ended the weekend by winning the tournament, picking up his 8th PGA Tour win in his career. However, that win didn’t come without a little bit of controversy. Many have continued to accuse Reed of being a cheater on the course. In the Hero World Challenge in December 2019, Reed was penalized on the 11th hole. Reed had taken more than a handful of practice strokes, grounding the club and moving sand back every time from the waste area the ball was in.    Photo by: Golf Digest After a long weekend of contention between Tony Finau and Webb Simpson, the Waste Management Phoenix Open came to an end.  We knew that Webb Simpson was on a roll after his hole-in-one on the 12th hole on Saturday afternoon, but on Sunday they put on a show and gave the fans one day to remember (or at least to those who were sober enough to remember). Webb Simpson started with the lead at (-16) after a 6-ft birdie on 10th, and Finau would not get to him until the 12th hole where he made a 25-ft putt for birdie, which will help him co-lead the tournament and later become the solo leader at (-17) with back-to-back birdies.  Simpson took 5 holes to get back to co-lead with Finau, when on the 18th hole he holed a 6-ft birdie, while Finau missed his 8 ½ -ft and will take them both onto a playoff.  The playoff took place on the 18th hole again, but Finau missed a long putt for birdie and the chance to put pressure on Simpson, however, Simp
