The Copperleaf Golf Club Experience
Right in the heart of beautiful Estero, Florida there is a high end country club that provides you with the feel and experience as if you are in the luxurious Naples, Florida just a few miles down I-75, but without the outrageous prices and battling the southbound traffic to get there.
To see what Copperleaf Golf Club is all about you just need to visit this beautiful country club located about a mile north of the intersection of Three Oaks and Corkscrew. Right from the start, you are truly involved in what we like to call the Copperleaf Experience. When you drive up to the bag drop you immediately get the feeling of a high end country club by the greetings of extremely personable and friendly staff ready to get you into the golf carts and onto hitting fairways right away.
Before you get to experience the top notch course conditions you are instantly involved in the exceptional service provided by the staff members. Additionally, if you want to take this experience to another level, you will need to spend some time at the many facilities in between the clubhouse and hole 1.
The Copperleaf experience is not just playing golf or visiting the clubhouse, it is truly engulfing yourself in the atmosphere. Spending some time at the chipping, putting, and driving range facilities will give you a great feel for how the greens, green side surfaces and fairways will play. Unlike most golf courses I have played, the facilities at Copperleaf Golf Club are the most consistent and true to the actual conditions out in the golf course really allowing golfers to play their best game by giving them a sense of what to expect.
Once you experience the difference that Copperleaf provides on the practice level, you will see that it doesn’t stop there. From hole one you get to see why Copperleaf Golf Club holds such a prestigious reputation.
Hole one is a deceptively challenging par 4. It has a lot of water on the left as it runs next to the water range, so that is always a daunting task when you are staring down the waves on the left and houses on the right.
The strategy to play this hole is to try and hit a drive down the left side of the fairway where it opens up behind the right bunker while still avoiding the water. The wind on this hole gets into play as well, since the tendency of the wind will be pushing it to the water. And as the wind and the water get into play on the first hole, that is what you can expect for the rest of the other 17 holes.
Overall the course conditions are spectacular throughout both the front and back 9. If you are looking for fast greens, beautiful fairways and a knowledgeable staff who are always willing to serve you, come to join the experience at Copperleaf Golf Club.
