For the next few weeks, the PGA Tour will be taking place in the sunshine state here in Florida, and one of the most known tournaments that is dedicated to golf’s best, Arnold Palmer was the first stop for the PGA professionals. This past week the Arnold Palmer Invitational took place at Bay Hill in Orlando, Florida.
This year’s tournament turned out to be difficult for the fan favorites’ Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson, Rickie Fowler and other top ranked players. However, the British Tyrell Hatton showed up and did his job to take home his very first PGA Tour victory.
During the first two rounds, the leaderboard was showing very low scores, with Rory McIlroy shooting a 66 the first day and going into the weekend with 7-under-par from Tyrrell Hatton and Sun Kang sharing the lead. However, round 3 was a tough windy day for the professionals with Max Homa having the lowest score at 2-under-par, something unusual to see at a PGA tour event, but the British Tyrell Hatton would keep the lead while scoring a 73 (+1) during the third round and leading at (-6) overall.

Tyrrell Hatton fought all the way until the last hole and after finishing (+2) 74, this would help him obtain his first win. Even though his score was unusually high in the last round, the conditions were quite tough, but his low scores from the first two rounds would help him for the windy weekend.
The PGA Tour will now take place in Jacksonville, Florida when the professionals step into one of the greatest stages in the tour at TPC Sawgrass for The Players this week, hopefully seeing Tyrrell Hatton compete as he did this past weekend.
